     Internet Public Library
The IPL is another excellent source for reference links.  The Reference Center has links to online versions of reference tools such as dictionaries, almanacs, biographies, etc.  There are also links organized by subject.  The FARQs (Frequently Asked Reference Questions) provide guides to popular topics.
     Librarians' Index to the Internet
This excellent and highly acclaimed site has links organized by subject.  The links have been critically evaluated by librarians.  Commercial sites with no informational content are not accepted.

Refdesk.com bills itself as "the single best source for facts on the Internet."  Established in 1995, the site aims to index quality sites and assist in the navigation of those sites.  It contains daily features, news and current events topics as well as reference resources such as facts at a glance, dictionaries, and encyclopedias.  Also contains subject categories and links to help and advice.  There are many, many links on this page so be sure to scroll all the way down, or check the site map.
