The Midway College library offers the following resources and services to students enrolled in off-campus cohorts or in online classes.

Online Catalogs and Databases

The library provides access to the Midway College library catalog and to the catalogs of all Kentucky college, university and public libraries through the Kentucky Virtual Library.

The library provides access to electronic databases for citations or full-text journal articles and electronic books.  You will be prompted for your Midway username and password to access the journal articles.  To access the electronic books, you will need to call the library to set up a personal NetLibrary account.

Interlibrary Loan

Students taking classes off-campus may request materials from the Midway College library.  If the item is not available in the Midway College library, the staff will try to obtain it from another library through interlibrary loan.  You may also use the interlibrary loan services of the community college nearest you.  See list below.

Local Library Agreements

The following libraries provide borrowing privileges, reserves, and interlibrary loan to Midway College students.  Contact the library in your area for availability of these services.

Access to Journals and Resources

When accessing the databases and resources from off-campus, you will be prompted for a username and password.  This is the same logon information as your Midway College e-mail account.
